N,N-Dimethylbenzeneethanamine hydrochloride is a drug that belongs to the group of adrenergic receptor agonists. It binds to the 2-adrenergic receptor and blocks beta-adrenergic signaling in the central nervous system. The drug also has antiplatelet effects, inhibiting thrombus formation by preventing platelet aggregation and adhesion to vascular walls. N,N-Dimethylbenzeneethanamine hydrochloride has been shown to be effective in treating endometriosis and cancer. This drug can be administered orally or intravenously. In addition, it can be used for prevention of restenosis following angioplasty by inhibiting vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation and migration.
