2-(Cyclohexylamino)benzoic acid is a chemical compound that reacts with aryl halides to form cyclic amines. The reaction proceeds by the formation of an intermediate, which is then hydrolyzed and decarboxylated to form the product. This reaction can be used for the synthesis of amines from either aromatic or aliphatic aryl chlorides.
