Informação sobre produto
3-Nitro-2-oxazolidinone is a chemical compound that has been shown to be carcinogenic in animal studies. It was also found to be mutagenic in the Ames test and clastogenic in the mouse micronucleus test. 3-Nitro-2-oxazolidinone can be synthesized by reacting nitrous acid with an oxazolidinone derivative, such as 1,3-dinitrobenzene or 1,3-diamino benzoic acid. 3NOA is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor. The lc-ms/ms method of analysis is used to identify this compound in samples because it produces amines and hydroxyl groups, which are more easily detected than other functional groups.
