Informação sobre produto
Methyl 4-bromo-3-methoxythiophene-2-carboxylate (MBMTC) is a synthetic anticancer agent that inhibits protein tyrosine phosphatases. It has shown potent inhibitory activity against PTP1B, a protein tyrosine phosphatase that plays an important role in the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation. MBMTC has been shown to inhibit hematopoietic progenitor cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit hematopoietic growth factor receptor and hematopoietic growth factor 1 (HGF1). MBMTC also inhibits protein synthesis by binding to ribosomes and inhibiting translation. This drug has been shown to have anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo.
