1-tert-Butyl 3-methyl 2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrole-1,3-dicarboxylate is a chemical compound that can be used to investigate steric interactions. This compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of mouse tumor cells in a dose dependent manner and has also been shown to reduce x-ray diffraction data. 1-tert-Butyl 3-methyl 2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrole-1,3-dicarboxylate has also been found to have an effect on Toll like receptor signalling pathways and enzyme activities. 1TBMPDC is not toxic but it can cause neuronal death at high concentrations.
