Informação sobre produto
- 1-benzyl-3-methyl-1H-imidazol-3-ium chloride
- 1-Benzyl-3-Methylimidazolium Bromide
1-Benzyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride is a liquid that belongs to the group of ionic liquids. It has been used in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, multi-walled carbon nanotubes, and Langmuir adsorption isotherms to show that benzyl groups are important for the formation of a hydrogen bond. 1-Benzyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride has also been shown to form ionic bonds with fatty acids and anions such as Cl-, Br-, SO42-, NO2-. The coordination geometry, viscosity, and reaction mechanism of this compound have also been studied using nmr spectra. The high values obtained in these experiments provide evidence for the presence of an ionic bond.
