• Descrição: Allyl a-D-glucopyranoside is a trisaccharide with the chemical formula CHO. It is an important monomer in the synthesis of polymers that are used in, for example, textiles, construction materials, and plastics. Allyl a-D-glucopyranoside has been found to have optical properties that are similar to those of natural rubber. When irradiated with UV light, it undergoes photoinduced polymerization and has been shown to be hydrophilic. The hydrophilicity can be increased by adding alkali metal ions or metal cations such as polyphosphates or calcium ions. Allyl a-D-glucopyranoside also has immunoregulatory activities and can stimulate lymphocyte proliferation, antibody production, and macrophage activity.
