Informação sobre produto
Cyclopentenylferrocene is a ligand that is used as an initiator for organic peroxide polymerization. It can be used in the production of polymers with anionic groups, such as polystyrene sulfonic acid and polyvinylsulfonic acid. Cyclopentenylferrocene has been shown to function as a photocurable initiator in the initiation of radical polymerization reactions. This compound has also been shown to be a good electron donor, which may be due to its ability to form stable covalent bonds with electron-deficient aromatic rings. Cyclopentenylferrocene is also able to reduce metal ions and peroxides, which may be due to its ability to transfer electrons from one organic group to another.
