D-Glucose ethylenedithioacetal is a biological agent. It is a white to off-white crystalline powder that has a molecular weight of 204.3. D-Glucose ethylenedithioacetal is soluble in water and ethanol, but not in ether or chloroform. It is stable in air, but will react with alkali to form the corresponding salt of D-glucose.
