Descrição:
Z-VAD-FMK is a caspase inhibitor that blocks the activation of caspases. It inhibits IL-2 receptor and prevents apoptosis by blocking the nuclear DNA from entering the cell nucleus. Z-VAD-FMK has been shown to inhibit the death of HL60 cells in a model system. It has also been shown to have inhibitory properties against cyclin D2, which is an important factor in the apoptosis pathway. This drug may be used to treat conditions such as leukemia, psoriasis, and arthritis.
