(S)-2-Methylbutyl p-Toluenesulfonate is a chemical compound that is used as an organic synthesis reagent. It can be used to synthesize benzene derivatives and other products through Friedel-Crafts acylation reactions. The chemical stability of (S)-2-methylbutyl p-toluenesulfonate allows it to be used in the presence of chloride, aluminium, chlorobenzene, and other halide compounds. This product also has low toxicity and the viscosity of this reagent is lower than that of other similar compounds.
