• Descrição: Usnic acid is a natural substance that has been used traditionally as an antibiotic and a preservative in food. Usnic acid is classified as a flavonoid and has potent inhibitory activity against the enzyme oxidase, which belongs to the class of enzymes that catalyze oxidation reactions.
