7-Deaza-2'-deoxyguanosine-5'-triphosphate sodium salt is a cytosolic small molecule that inhibits the activity of telomerase, an enzyme involved in the replication of chromosomes. It also has inhibitory effects on kinase domains and may be used to treat cancer. 7-Deaza-2'-deoxyguanosine-5'-triphosphate sodium salt binds to human mitochondrial DNA and inhibits gene transcription by hybridizing with it.
