3'-Deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate is a novel phosphoramidite, which is modified with a 3'-deoxyuridine and 5'-triphosphate. It is an antiviral nucleoside that has been shown to inhibit human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) DNA synthesis. This compound also has anticancer properties, inhibiting the growth of tumor cells by inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. It is also used as a building block in the synthesis of deoxyribonucleosides and diphosphate nucleotides.
