N-Tosylethylenediamine is a chemical compound that has been shown to have anticancer properties. It is an efficient method for converting chloride ions into trifluoroacetate salts, which are widely used as antimicrobial agents. The reaction mechanism of N-Tosylethylenediamine is not yet fully understood but it may involve the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the inhibition of mitochondrial respiration. The compound has also been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth in prostate cancer cells, cervical cancer cells, and lung cancer cells.
