• Descrição: 3-(3-Methoxyphenyl)acrylaldehyde (3MPAA) is a phenolic compound that has been shown to have a variety of effects on mammalian cells. It can be used as an industrial preparation for polymers and fatty acids, and it has been shown to have insulin sensitizing properties. 3MPAA was found to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro, but not normal kidney cells.
