Descrição:
1-(2-Amino-1-naphthyl)isoquinoline (1AN) is a thermochromic compound that changes from blue to yellow when heated. It has been shown to have intramolecular, conformation, and fluorescence properties. 1AN can be excited by ultraviolet radiation and will emit light at a wavelength of 450 nm. This compound will also undergo photochromism when exposed to sunlight, which is the reversible conversion between two distinct crystal forms. Finally, 1AN exhibits thermochromism by changing color as the temperature increases or decreases.
