2-Bromo-N-(2-phenylethyl)acetamide is a nucleophile that can be used as a therapeutic agent. This drug also has diagnostic applications and can be used as a reagent for affinity chromatography. 2-Bromo-N-(2-phenylethyl)acetamide has been shown to have antitumor activity in mice with leukemia due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and protein.
