Eperisone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of symptoms of osteoarthritis. It has a chemical stability that allows for oral administration. Eperisone does not have any toxicity studies and is not known to interact with other drugs. The most common side effects are gastrointestinal upset, nausea, and vomiting. Eperisone is metabolized in the liver by cytochrome P450 3A4 and excreted through the kidneys. This drug also has an effect on the body's muscle mass index and blood pressure levels, as well as human serum albumin levels.
