2'-Deoxy-5'-O-DMT-N4-ethylcytidine 3'-CE phosphoramidite is a novel nucleoside analog that has been modified to incorporate an ethyl group at the 4' position of the cytidine. This modification was designed to increase resistance to nucleases and improve stability in acidic environments. 2'-Deoxy-5'-O-DMT-N4-ethylcytidine 3'-CE phosphoramidite can be used as an anticancer agent or antiviral agent and has shown activity against HIV. It is also useful for DNA sequencing, PCR, and other molecular biology applications.
