PGPC has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in autoimmune diseases and cell lysis in myocardial infarcts, atherosclerotic lesions, and other inflammatory diseases.PGPC may be used as an adjuvant therapy for the treatment of skin cancer, tissue culture, or autoimmune diseases.
