Dunnianol is a natural compound found in Carthamus tinctorius that has been shown to exhibit antibacterial efficacy against a variety of bacteria. Dunnianol inhibits the activity of LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells by reducing the production of inflammatory cytokines and proteases that are responsible for cell damage and lung inflammation.
