The monoclonal antibody 1R,2R-(+)-1-Phenyl-2-palmitoylamino-3-N-morpholine-1-propanol is a potential treatment for cancer and other hyperproliferative diseases. It binds to potassium phosphate and glucosylceramide, which are targets of the monoclonal antibody. This antibody has been shown to react with sequences that are specific to hyperproliferative cells and has been tested in vitro on human cancer cells. The liquid chromatography method used for this test was developed by the manufacturer and is proprietary. The body mass index (BMI) of participants in the study was between 18 and 28, with a mean of 24.5±5.4 kg/m².
