Informação sobre produto
2-(1H-Imidazol-2-yl)acetic acid is a chemical that can be used for diagnosis. It is also used to study the effect of dopamine and histamine on protein synthesis in animals. 2-(1H-Imidazol-2-yl)acetic acid has been shown to inhibit uptake of amino acids, which may lead to a decrease in dopamine levels and an increase in histamine levels. This drug also inhibits the enzyme monoamine oxidase and the enzymes responsible for the synthesis of RNA, which affects the production of proteins. The drug can be used as a diagnostic tool to measure high levels of monocarboxylic acids in urine samples.
