Chlorocamphor is a reactive chemical compound, which means that it reacts with other compounds to form new compounds. It is a hydrochloride salt of camphor and ammonium chloride. Chlorocamphor can be obtained by reacting camphor with an excess of hydrochloric acid, followed by crystallization from water.
