Informação sobre produto
8-Bromoisoquinolin-4-ol is a pyridine derivative that can be synthesized by three different routes. One of the most commonly used methods is Friedel-Crafts cyclization, which yields 8-bromoisoquinolin-4-ol as the product. This reaction can be catalyzed by palladium, and it is an efficient method for preparing this compound. The second method is Suzuki cross coupling reaction, where 8-bromoisoquinolin-4-ol can be synthesized by reacting with a variety of electrophiles. The third route to 8-bromoisoquinolin-4-ol involves the use of an intramolecular Heck reaction, which also yields this compound as the product.
8-Bromoisoquinolin-4-ol has been found to be a highly potent inhibitor of human platelet aggregation and has even been shown to inhibit platelet aggregation in vivo.
