Informação sobre produto
Palomid 529 is a prodrug that is converted to its active form, cisplatin, by the liver. Palomid 529 has been shown to be effective against prostate cancer cells in vivo and in tumor xenografts. It inhibits matrix metalloproteinase activity in prostate cancer cells and inhibits tumor growth. It also has a low expression profile in normal tissues, with the exception of hematopoietic cells. Palomid 529 is an inhibitor of e3 ubiquitin ligases. This drug has been shown to have antitumour activity against various types of cancers, including breast and ovarian cancer cell lines and human tumor xenografts. Palomid 529 may be used as an alternative chemotherapeutic agent for patients who are resistant to docetaxel or collagen-based therapies.
