Descrição:Hi-5 is a recombinant, human protein that inhibits the high mobility group box 1 (HMGB1), an inflammatory mediator. HMGB1 is produced by activated macrophages and triggers inflammation reactions in response to tissue injury or infection. Hi-5 can be used as a pharmacological tool for the study of HMGB1-mediated inflammation and as a research tool for the discovery of new drugs that target HMGB1.
