- Quinoxaline, 2-(1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-
2-(1H-Pyrazol-4-yl)quinoxaline is an intermediate in the synthesis of pyrazole derivatives. The compound has been shown to react with cyclopentadiene and 1,3-diphenylpropane in a dehydrative cycloaddition to produce 2,2′-bithiophene. 2-(1H-Pyrazol-4-yl)quinoxaline also reacts with phosphoryl chloride in a phosphorylation reaction to produce 4-[(dimethylamino)methyl]-2-(1H-pyrazol-4-yl)quinoline.
