Informação sobre produto
Nilutamide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used to treat prostate cancer. It has been shown to be an antagonist of glucocorticoid receptors and has been found to have estrogenic activity. Nilutamide has been synthesized using a number of techniques, including the imidazolidinone method, for use in drug development. This synthetic nilutamide was labeled with the D6 isotope for use in mechanistic studies. Mechanistic studies have shown that nilutamide inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA by binding to the glucocorticoid receptor, which interrupts the action of transcription factors and reduces protein synthesis in cells. This also leads to cell death as a result of apoptosis.
