Informação sobre produto
9-Bromotriptycene is a synthetic, high-energy, organic molecule that has been used as a nuclear spin probe. The bromine atoms in 9-bromotriptycene are deaminated by irradiation with light at appropriate wavelengths, which causes the phenyl groups to rotate and the radical to reorient. This process can be photostimulated, allowing for multistep reactions to be studied in detail. 9-Bromotriptycene has been shown to react with benzoquinones and nucleophiles, and can be synthesized from anthracenes.
