Descrição

Liarozole is a synthetic retinoid that inhibits the growth of cells by binding to nuclear DNA. It inhibits the synthesis of RNA and protein by blocking the activity of RNA polymerase, leading to cell death. Liarozole has been shown to be effective against cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. However, it does not have any inhibitory effects on normal cells. The drug also has inhibitory effects on hyperproliferative diseases such as bowel disease, which may be due to its ability to induce apoptosis in intestinal cells.
