1-o-Galloyl-6-o-cinnamoylglucose is a natural product that has been isolated from the leaves of the Chinese herb, Acacia confusa. It is a white crystalline powder with a melting point of 187°C. 1-o-Galloyl-6-o-cinnamoylglucose has been shown to have antioxidant activity and may be useful in the treatment of diabetes and cancer. 1-o-Galloyl-6-o-cinnamoylglucose is soluble in water, but not in acetone or chloroform. It has a molecular weight of 394.1 Daltons and can be found on CAS registry number 115746-69-5.
