PF-06439015 mesylate is a small molecule that activates the S1P receptor. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro. The binding affinity of PF-06439015 mesylate to the S1P receptor has been demonstrated in both rat brain and human colon cancer cell lines. It is also able to activate the S1P receptor in vivo by increasing the phosphorylation of Akt, an enzyme that regulates cell growth, survival and migration. This compound can be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions, ion channels and ligands.
