Descrição:
1H,2H,3H,4H-Cyclopenta[b]indol-3-one is a ligand that binds to the serotonin transporter. It has been shown to have affinity for the serotonin transporter and inhibit 5-HT reuptake in human cells. The compound has been shown to be an inhibitor of dopamine reuptake as well. The molecular docking studies showed a high binding affinity for the serotonin transporter. This compound also interacts with the dopamine transporter, inhibiting its activity.
