Descrição:Cis-epoxysuccinic acid is a compound that is used in the process optimization of epoxides. It has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of phosphotungstic acid hydrolase and as such can be used in the inhibition of bacterial growth. Cis-epoxysuccinic acid has also been shown to inhibit surface methodology, which may lead to the development of new antibiotics. The mechanism studies showed that cis-epoxysuccinic acid inhibits hamster v79 cells through a reaction solution involving camp levels and surface methodology.
