Bupirimate is a bactericidal agent that is used in wastewater treatment. Bupirimate has been shown to synergize with other agents such as ethylene diamine (ED) and prothioconazole, which act on different targets in the bacterial cell. It has been shown to have an effect on glucocorticoid receptors, which are responsible for the regulation of gene expression. This compound also inhibits enzyme inhibitors that are involved in cervical cancer development.
