- 3-Fluoro-1H-Indazole
3-fluoro-1H-indazole is a small molecule inhibitor of pro-inflammatory cytokines. It has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the production of interleukin 1β and TNFα. 3-fluoro-1H-indazole blocks the activity of enzymes that are involved in production of these inflammatory cytokines, such as DPPIV and caspase 8. 3-fluoro-1H-indazole inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to DNA and interfering with transcriptional activation. This drug also has been shown to have antihyperlipidemic properties, which may be due to its ability to decrease cholesterol levels and increase bile acid excretion.
