Ethyl 1-tert-butyl-4-fluoro-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylate is a chemical pesticide that inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to DNA. The antitumor response of this compound has been shown in vitro and in vivo in mouse models. Its anti-inflammatory effects have also been demonstrated in a number of in vitro assays, including one where ethanol extract from C. glabrata was used as a solvent. Ethyl 1-tert-butyl-4-fluoro-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylate is an antiinflammatory cytokine that promotes immune tolerance to tumor antigens and may be useful for immunotherapy of cancer. The optimum concentration of ethyl 1TBBFPC varies depending on the type of cancer cell being treated.
