Descrição:Mitopy1 is a mitochondrial protein that regulates mitochondrial functions. Mitopy1 has a role in the regulation of autophagy and cell death, as well as the induction of reactive oxygen species and the alteration of mitochondrial membrane potential. Mitopy1 interacts with toll-like receptor signalling pathways to regulate cytokine production, which may have implications for cancer treatment. Mitopy1 is also known to be involved in the regulation of physiological levels of dinucleotide phosphate (DNP), which may have implications for treatment of mitochondrial disorders. The pharmacological effects of Mitopy1 are not yet fully understood, but it has been shown to have potential anticancer activity in vitro.
