Descrição:5-Chloro-1-methyl-4-nitro-1H-pyrazole is a nucleophilic substitutive agent that is used in the synthesis of 7-deazapurines. 5-Chloro-1-methyl-4-nitro-1H-pyrazole is synthesized through a cross coupling reaction between an aldehyde and an azide. It has been shown to inhibit hepatitis C virus replication by interfering with the viral life cycle. It also inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of certain proteins such as p21 and cyclin A.
