Descrição:OPC-28326 is a peptide that can activate the receptor for bradykinin, a peptide hormone. OPC-28326 and its analogs are being investigated for their potential to treat various diseases. The effects of OPC-28326 on ion channels and protein interactions have been studied in detail using high-throughput screening assays. This peptide has also been shown to be an inhibitor of angiotensin II type 1 receptors, which are important for blood pressure regulation. OPC-28326 is a ligand that binds to the beta 2 adrenergic receptor, inhibiting binding of the agonist methoxamine to this receptor and thereby blocking signaling downstream from this receptor. It also inhibits binding of the agonist isoprenaline to the beta 1 adrenergic receptor.
