Descrição:(-)-JQ1 is a small molecule inhibitor of the CDK4/6 complex that has been shown to be synergistic with palbociclib for the treatment of hematological malignancies. (-)-JQ1 has also been shown to inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in multiple myeloma cells, which may be due to its ability to bind to the bromodomain and interfere with transcriptional activity. (-)-JQ1 is a pan-histone deacetylase inhibitor that can cause dose-dependent changes in gene expression. It targets proapoptotic genes such as Bim and Bmf, while upregulating antiapoptotic genes such as p21 and Mcl-1. (-)-JQ1 is an analog of JQ1, which was originally discovered by screening a synthetic compound library for inhibitors of histone acetylation.
