3-Methylazetidine-1-sulfonamide is a modulator that is used as an inhibitor of the inflammation and pain caused by osteoarthritis. 3-Methylazetidine-1-sulfonamide inhibits the activity of myeloperoxidase, which is responsible for the production of inflammatory mediators. The drug also inhibits chemokine receptor activity, which has been shown to reduce the progression of arthritis. 3-Methylazetidine-1-sulfonamide has shown to inhibit arthropathy in animal models. This drug also binds to chemokine receptors and prevents chemokine binding, preventing chemotaxis and reducing inflammation and pain.
