Descrição:Alisol F is a p-glycoprotein inhibitor that inhibits the uptake of drugs in cells. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species by mitochondria. Alisol F also prevents the mitochondrial membrane potential from being disrupted, which may be important for oncotherapy. This chemical can be used for treatment of inflammatory diseases such as hepatitis and cancer. Alisol F has been shown to inhibit multidrug resistance in caco-2 cells and to reduce cancer cell proliferation in mcf-7 cells. Alisol F is a chemical that binds to specific sites on proteins, thereby inhibiting their biological activity or function.
