Informação sobre produto
Tam1 hydrochloride is a research tool that can be used to study the function of ion channels. Tam1 hydrochloride binds to receptor sites on cell membranes and may activate the ion channel, which regulates the flow of ions across the membrane. This ligand has been shown to be an activator of potassium channels in mouse muscle cells. The binding of Tam1 hydrochloride to potassium channels may cause them to open, leading to a reduction in the permeability of potassium ions across the cell membrane. It has also been shown to inhibit calcium channels in kidney cells.
