Informação sobre produto
Diethylenetriamine is a chemical compound that can be used as a reactant to produce polyurethane. It has shown anticancer activity against human colon carcinoma cells and has been used in wastewater treatment, as well as in the treatment of diarrhoea. Diethylenetriamine reacts with trichloroacetic acid under acidic conditions to form an ester linkage. This reaction is catalyzed by the enzyme triesterase and occurs through several steps, including nucleophilic addition and elimination reactions. The activation energy for this process is between 50-100 kJ/mol.
