9-Ethylcarbazole-3-boronic Acid is a synthetic compound that consists of 9-ethylcarbazole and boronic acid, which are linked by an anhydride. This product is then subjected to hydrolysis at elevated temperature with water and hydrochloric acid to produce 9-ethylcarbazole 3-boronic acid.
