TNF-α-IN-1 is a recombinant human TNF-α that is produced in E. coli and purified by affinity chromatography. It interacts with TNF receptors and blocks the activation of these receptors by binding to them. TNF-α-IN-1 also inhibits ion channels, such as voltage gated potassium channels, which are involved in the propagation of an action potential in neurons. TNF-α-IN-1 has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of cell proliferation in vitro. In addition, it has been used as a research tool for studying the molecular mechanisms of signal transduction pathways mediated by receptor proteins and peptides.END>
