Descrição:3-Methoxy-4-(pyrrolidine-1-sulfonyl)aniline (3MPASA) is a potent and selective inhibitor of the voltage-gated potassium channel Kv1.2. 3MPASA selectively inhibits Kv1.2 channels in a reversible manner, with an IC50 of 0.5 μM, and does not inhibit other voltage-gated ion channels tested to date. 3MPASA can be used as a research tool for studying the role of these channels in cell biology and pharmacology studies, as well as an inhibitor for the treatment of conditions such as chronic pain, epilepsy, and neuropathic pain.
